I made a late decision to test my legs this Sunday by riding the longer route of the Phil Cooke Challenge Ride. We woke up to an unforeseen dusting of snow and, as I hadn't ridden anywhere near this distance for several months I nearly cried off. I'm glad I didn't though it turned out to be a great ride from Dunchurch (near Rugby) to Towcester and back through some of the lovely country lanes of Warwickshire and Northamptonshire.
