Hi my name is Paul Martin and as you have already seen from the home page of this website I am a freelance photographer.
I spend a lot of time attending various different events looking for picture opportunities, with a view to selling them to magazine editors,books,calendars,post cards,news papers or wherever i feel a possible sale can be made.
I have attended god knows how many courses on photographic subjects such as studio lighting,glamour and fashion shoots and portraiture, so i am well capable of using studio lights and all that fancy stuff.

My preferred photographic subject is night and low light photography,photographing many of the well known floodlit places in the UK and over seas.
I also Cover glamour/fashion/portraiture/pets and commercial shots,weddings,family portraits.
I run my own studio in Essex which is well equiped using Professional Ellinchrom studio lights.
They are fully portable and can be taken anywhere they are needed,indoors or out.
Another subject that i like to cover when i get time is wildlife especially big cats.
Some of the pictures I have taken in London and else where have already been published in well known publications.
Some of the photos that you will see on this website,now and in the future are avaliable for sale to the public, you can email me for details.
There are some sections of this website where the photographs are not for sale and this is due to legal reasons.
A quick note on picture quality.
Some of the images you can see on this website apart from the black and white shots are scanned fron fuji provia 100f or fuji velva ISO 50 slide film.
This therefore does not represent the true quality of the original slides that the scan was taken.
The net result of this is that the images on this website are not as good as the original slides.
Any prints from slides that I sell to anybody will be printed from the original slide.
Also the prints will be printed by professional printers who specialise in supplying Hand Printed photographs to exibition standard.
They supply prints for many of the top well known photogaphers and do a superb job.
I also own a profesional canon A3 printer and therefore i am able to supply A4 and A3 profesional quaility ink jet prints at a lower price.

The bulk of my work from now on will be digital.
